Course: S.Th.B
Year: 3rd |
About:
After finishing a first degree course in Physiotherapy in 2004, I worked for two and a half years in a rehabilitation hospital for the elderly. In 2007, I gave up my work to join the Archbishop's seminary to start my formation towards priesthood. In October 2008, I started my degree in Theology and Humanities Studies. Between 2009 and 2010, I served on MKSU execuitive team as International Secretary. I strongly believe that University is a fertile ground for the propagation of values; especially sin these same students at University will be the leaders of tomorrow's society. |

| Projects Coordinator |
|
Sergio Fenech
Course: S.Th.B
Year: 2nd |
About:
I decided to form part of this year's MKSU executive, because I believe that as a Catholic student in my formation to become a server of people, I should already start serving my fellow students in their life at University. I am positive that MKSU's contribution to students' life on campus is very valid as it enriches students' university life as well as safeguards their Catholic lifestyle. I am sure that the experience in the committee will prove fruitful for my life and my vocation; which go hand in hand. The experience I have gathered through working with Parish organisations and other voluntary organisations, should help me to fulfill my role in the committee.

|
Resources Coordinator |
William Muscat
Course: S.Th.B.
Year: 2nd |
About:
After closely following past MKSU activities organised during my first year at University, I decided to involve myself more actively in the movement. I believe that my involvement in the movement, as the Resources Coordinator, will help me to discover various works within the Maltese Church in different areas. I also believe that by involving oneself in a student organisation, one learns how to work with different people but with the same mission. I am positive that MKSU will enrich my life as a University student and as a Seminarian. MKSU offers the opportunity to all Catholic University students to collaborate together and make our lifestyles significant to others around us...we are all Human Resources! |

During the past 5 years I have worked on several voluntary work projects both in Malta and abroad in Hungary, Egypt and India. My role in the MKSU executive involves developing and maintaining MKSU's international contacts and participation with foreign associations, and remaining up-to-date with the international scene of events. |

|
National & Diocesan Secretary |
James Saydon
Course: S.Th.B
Year: 2nd |
About:
During my first year at University, I had the opportunity to discover better the work carried out by MKSU. I believe that my post in the executive will help me to widen my vision of the Church and its different projects in all dimensions of the Christian life. The responsibility which my post carries with it will also help me to better understand what is expected from me as a Catholic University student and Seminarian. The good that we believe in should not be kept for ourselves but shared with others! |

| KPS Officer |
|
Kurt Mizzi
Course:LL.B
Year: 2nd
|
About:
What is peculiar to man is not the ability to survive adapting himself repeatedly to ever-new structures; rather being human makes him capable of giving his life for others with joy. I look forward at making this experience of sharing and planning, forming part of the MKSU team. Committing myself to the advocacy of Christian Values on Campus is no easy task, it isn’t for anyone. However, perhaps it may also be true (whilst keeping ourselves aback from the remit of dogmatism) that witnessing to our communitarian nature as Christians is in itself one of the best signs (to say the least) we can give to our peers; a wordless yet strong affirmation that we believe in a more humane world were inclusion, understanding , friendship and community in Christ’s person would become - through our constant commitment of will - the common ambience of human well-being. My interests include law, philosophy and theology together with Spirituality. I am also a Carmelite pre-novice in the Maltese Province.
