Freshers' Meeting (23 September) - A chance for freshers to get to know your mates, share your hopes and fears and get your questions answered. See you at the University Chapel at 6.30pm!
October
Freshers' Week (1 - 3 October) - MKSU keeps its appointment from year to year in freshers' week by helping freshers out in settling down while offering them our friendship and experience. Check out MKSU's stand on Campus from where you can get to know more about MKSU, collect a membership form as well as an application form for the KICKstart live-in and buy tickets for Freshers BBQ.
Freshers BBQ (5 October) - A fundraising activity organized by MKSU and Chaplaincy held at Mellieha Scouts Centre. This will be an opportunity to welcome freshers to university life and help them start socializing with other students. Everyone is welcome!
Time: 7pm onwards

KICKstart Live-in (10 - 12 October) - A leisure weekend for freshers and other interested students. It includes workshops focusing on getting to know others, teamwork and other topics such as human rights education. It is aimed to help freshers undertake the transition from sixth form to Unviersity and build new friendships. Application forms will be available from MKSU stand and Chaplaincy during Freshers Week.
Price: 40 euros
Football Tournament (17 October) - A fundraising event aimed at integrating sports and entertainment with the development of one's personality. 5-aside teams are welcome to contact us on activities.mksu@gmail.com.
November
Late Saturday evening Mass (1 November) - On Saturday 1st November, Chaplaincy is organising a late Saturday evening Mass for students and staff alike. The Mass will commence at 9pm followed by refreshments.
From Persecutor to Promoter (4 November) - On Tuesday 4th November for five consecutive weeks Chaplaincy is offering together with the Dominican Fathers a series of talks. The talks will help us to reflect upon the life and works of St. Paul. These will be held at the Chaplaincy at 12.40pm till approximately 13.30pm. Students and staff are welcome.
Blood Drive (26-27 November) - Staff from the Blood Unit will once again visit University and ALL members and students are strongly encouraged to make a difference and donate some of their time and blood. This is a joint event organized by MKSU and MMSA.
Launch Re-Ligio - Media is widely used to promote our message. Re-ligio is a publication which has now reached its final stages. Its launch is estimated to take place towards the end of October.
Q & A Evening (26 November) - Listen to the Speaker and ask your question! The Chaplaincy is organising an evening for all students and staff who would like to ask questions and reflect on moral and ethical issues. The first talk will be given by Fr Renè Camilleri and the topic being discussed will be ‘In search of the Truth’. The evening will commence at 7pm at the Chaplaincy and will last approximately till around 9pm.
Treasure Hunt (30 November) - A fun activity starting from San Duminku Church, Rabat aimed at uniting our members and enjoying ourselves as we take a break from university life

Peace Activity (Pro Life vs Pro Choice) - Participate in this yearly event and take part in discussion sessions and other activities in the university quadrangle. The topic tackled this year will be one of the hottest issues interesting youths lately - Pro Life vs Pro Choice.
Christmas Activities - MKSU intends to endorse in a number of activities in the Quadrangle in collaboration with a number of other youth organizaitons. For three weeks prior to the Christmas recess, MKSU will be organizing a weekly event in the quadrangle, each with a particular message to help people reflect upon the true message of Christmas.
